The Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition provides outpatient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver and nutritional disorders in infants, children and adolescents.

Typical patient digestive issues and disorders include:

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux
  • Diarrhea and Malabsorption
  • Celiac Disease
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Intestinal Bleeding

Liver diseases include:

  • Jaundice
  • Hyperbilirubinemia
  • Viral and Autoimmune Hepatitis
  • Liver Failure
  • Neonatal Cholestatis
  • Metabolic Liver Disease

Nutritional diseases include failure to thrive, feeding disorders and short bowel syndrome. Evaluations and treatment include specialized enteral and parenteral nutrition.
